Old Ways of Construction

In some areas of Pakistan, concrete block construction has been in vogue for the past forty years. Concrete blocks are laid and plastered later. A mason and two laborers together install about 200 blocks in a day. Then later both sides are plastered.

New Technology and its Advantages

Now, with the new technology, not only 400 to 600 blocks can be installed in a day, but both sides will also be plastered. This will save a lot of time and labor. It has been observed that the block wall is preferred for cheap and quick construction and there is a practice of rough and temporary wall construction. Now plastering the wall from both sides will not cost much by saving labor and time. Rather, it will prove to be cheaper than a normal wall.
